Job Description:

You will be working side-by-side with the founder of the firm who has going on 20 years experience and a decade before that as a law clerk/paralegal.

  • Summarizing cases and preparing reports for attorneys
  • Investigating case facts from the office and/or courthouses
  • Assisting in developing legal arguments
  • Drafting documents such as pleadings for attorney review
  • Organizing documents related to completed and ongoing cases

In the past, the firm has taken and paid for members of the firm (and significant others) to go on trips for team-building. We have taken our team for simple things like a weekend in Chicago and up to a Cruise Vacation. These trips only required team members of the firm to only attend short two-hour work meetings as part of the team building while the rest of these trips were for the team to enjoy their time.

Qualifications:

You must be one of the following:
* Attorney in good standing from any state
* Law Student
* Law School Graduate
* Person with a Paralegal Degree
* Worked in a Law Firm before

Since much of our practice is in the area of family law, either real-life experience or classroom experience with Michigan Family Law is a plus, but not required.
